Spare Emus
No, not the long-legged variety, but the fine journal of Birds Australia/RAOU. Some years ago a member of the Canberra Ornithologists Group (COG) kindly donated a collection of the journals to COG. It is no longer feasible for us to retain them. Some issues have been donated to libraries, including the National Library of Australia, filling gaps in their collections. Others issues remain. They will be given away to members at the regular COG meeting on 11 June. Unfortunately any remaining after that date will have to be discarded. The issues referred to are volumes 61 (1961) to 92 (1992), with a few gaps. List members and others who want to get in before 11 June should contact me by return email or by phone on (02) 6231 8904, after hours.
