This afternoon I went for a walk along a bush track some 10km west of Murray Bridge. Highlights of my observations: Common Bronzewing - 2 flushed from tree, one had been sitting on 2 eggs Hooded Robin - 4 - male + female with 2 young White-Winged Chough - 2 groups of 7 and 8 respectively, at least 4 used nests in the vacinity White-Browed Babbler - 2 attacking a Grey Butcherbird Spotted Harrier - swooping low over the mallee scrub Happy Birding, Trevor Hampel Murray Bridge |
