I have birded around Townsville for the last ten years, I have
no personal records  of Common Starlings.  I seem to recall a
single bird being seen at Blakey's Crossing a couple of years
ago.    Also a small colony was reported at the meat works
in Bowen a couple of years ago, Jon Wren of Bowen may 
be able to help with that sighting.
