Hi everybody -

The Threatened Bird Network is seeking volunteers to survey Swift Parrots
and Regent Honeyeaters on two national count weekends this autumn and
winter. Count dates are:

May 9-10 and August 8-9.

There is a fair amount of overlap in the potential winter range of both
these species, and it may be possible for observers to see both, but the
idea is to obtain as comprehensive a coverage as possible. Those interested
in participating should contact one of the following people:

Mick Fendley, TBN Coordinator: <> or at the
Birds Australia contact numbers and address below.

Simon Kennedy, DNRE Bendigo: <>
Tel: (03) 5444 6639.

David Geering: Tel: (03) 9412 4297.

Cheers, Hugo.
