On Wednesday 11 March 1998 Terry Reis & Karen Hurley sighted a Grey Wagtail, an Australian vagrant, upstream from the Moran's Falls creek crossing at Lamington National Park. Time sighted was 8:50 am on 11/3/98. Seen again on Friday 13 March 1998 by T. Reis, K. Hurley, Rob Elvich & a visiting American student at exactly the same place. Excellent sightings were had on 13/3/98 between 8:35am and 9:00am. The bird then flew downstream and over the edge of the falls. Regards, Karen Hurley. |
