     I assume my email about Crimson Rosellas sparked this.
     
     For your information I am by birth a Pom, although I saw the error of 
     my parents' ways, migrated here, had the lobotomy and am now an Aussie 
     citizen 
     
     (Hopefully this has offended both Poms and Aussies!)

The word Pom is not an affectionate term but just another lazy type of 
racism and name calling. It would be nice to see contributors to 
Birding-Aus not use such words.
