Mullers Lagoon Update No 4

Well folks it is on again. Cr Wayne Bidgood not being satisfied that he 
lost the support of his fellow councillors to "clean up" this glorious 
park,  has now involved the Qld. National Parks and Wildlife Service to 
try and achieve his goal.
Luckily I have been able to discuss this issue with QNPWS staff and 
hopefully have nipped it in the bud.
Last Thursday a meeting was organised at Mullers Lagoon (I didn't 
receive an invitation) with Councillors and QNPWS reps., however this 
was cancelled at the last minute, the Mayor was not amused.Next meeting 
of the Bowen Shire Council is the 25 February where again he will push 
for the clean up of verge vegetation. 
Can I please request that anyone with info on the importance of 
retaining verge vegetation forward same to
