I heard on the grapevine today that 2 House Swifts were sighted from the Broome Bird Observatory in WA apparently with Fork-tailed Swifts 8th February 1998. This information comes third hand so may be inaccurate. Does anyone have any further details? And a note for Victorian readers. A Masked Owl has been seen in far SW Victoria near Portland recently. Sorry again I do not have any precise details. Regards Tony |
