Three pictures of the Arctic Warbler recently seen (and later caught) at
Broome Bird Observatory are now on the web. Go to the following address and
double-click on "Arctic Warbler":
http://cygnus.uwa.edu.au/~austecol/observatories/broome.htm
This species may well occur regularly in very small numbers in northern
Australia at this time of year, so anyone likely to be birding in NW WA or
the Top End might be interested in checking out the pictures.
Chris Hassell is preparing a detailed report for the Birds Australia Records
Appraisal Committee.
Cheers,
Allan Burbidge
