I have just been around the south west with Alex Appleman from Townsville
for a week. The highlights were :

Chestnut Teal (5 males), Long-toed Stint (4), Ruff (1), Black-winged Stilt
(1000+), Red-necked Avocet (4000), Banded Stilt (10+), Red-kneed Dotterel
(4), Whiskered Tern (10+), Sulphur-crested Cockatoo (4 feral), Little
Grassbird (heard)
near Pinjarra
Emu (1), Banded Lapwing (27), Brown Songlark (1 male), Rufous Songlark (1),
White-winged Triller (1 juvenile)
Dryandra State Forest
Painted Button-quail (4), Bush Stone-curlew (heard at 4am), Elegant Parrot,

Spotted Harrier, Peregrine Falcon, Whimbrel (5), Greater Sand Plover, Lesser
