Dear Fellow Ornithologists,

I'd be really grateful if you would bring this scholarship to the attention
of suitable students or simply stick the notice below on an appropriate
notice board. I have already advertised through the Ecological Society of
Australia and the Animal Behaviour Society of North America's electronic
bulletin boards, with very limited success The closing date for
applications is now 6th February.

Overseas applicants need to be aware that they would have to pay tuition
fees of around $15000 Aus in at least their first year. They could then
apply for a scholarship during 1998 that would give them exemption from
these fees in their later years, but these scholarships are not abundant
and there is strong competition for them.

My apologies if you've received more than one copy of this message.

Many thanks for your help,

Mike Clarke
