"Schizochroism" has a sort of split corvid flavour in its probable pronunciation that seems a bit suspect. Could there be a typo? Should it be "schizochromism"? ... Danny? There's a pied Blackbird on Lord Howe Island that frequents the area around Thompson's store and the Blue Lagoon apartments next door. I photographed it in '96 and it was still there Dec 28, '97.
