Priddel and N. Carlile.
(On the Gould's Petrels nesting on Cabbage Tree Island, New South Wales,
Australia)

"Winter Birding Irish Style." Eric Dempsey.
(Birding in winter in Ireland while it is summer in the southern
hemisphere)

"CyberNature: Are you being served?" G. Ingram
An interview with Jenny Norman, the moderator of SABirdNet, the South
African bird list. Birding-aus also receives an airing.

There are other surprising ways to become pregnant.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year was won by Peter Knowles of Winton,
Queensland, Australia, with "Changing the Guard", a stunning photo of bub
and adults of Tawny Frogmouths.

Wildlife Australia magazine is a non-profit enterprise published by the
Queensland Museum and the Wildlife Preservation Society, with the
Department of Environment, Queensland, Australia. They are always seeking
articles and photographs, especially from amateur naturalists but
professionals are most welcome. Email:

Best wishes
