Hi all A Kelp Gull turned up on the Cairns Esplanade on Nov 13th - the last one seen here was on Nov 16th 1988. It was still here today the 16th. Also seen:- 2 Yellow Wagtails at Yarrabah road turf farm. 1 Australian Pratincole at Yarrabah road turf farm, has been there for several weeks. The Cairns Crocodile farm is a good place for crakes, many White-browed Crakes and Buff-Banded Land Rails present today as well as a Spotless and Ballions Crake.
