post-script top Murray Lord's Cairns report

Murray seems to have had a good time in Cairns and to have seen lots of the
things I was looking for in January but didn't see (but I did see Golden
Bower-bird and the Parrot-Finch:-)).

However to his site reports note that:

Pickford Road and Tinaroo Creek Road (both in Thomas and Thomas), are
completely changed and are now next to useless for the key species they
mention (Pickford Road has had the pond removed, and Timaroo Creek Road has
had the termite mounds area bulldozed).

Also the Golden Bowerbird has abandoned its bower at the Crater (the '300
meters then fallen log' in Thomas and Thomas site).However I did see one at
the main car park to the Crater (about 200 meters up the approach track).
