According to Todd's 10,001 Titilating Tidbits of Avian Trivia, the
answer to the question 'Which bird has the longest continuous incubation
stretch, and how long is it?' (which is a slightly different question
from that asked by Shane) is:
'The male Emperor Penguin incubates the single egg on the top of its
feet continuously without relief for 64-67 days. The male kiwi
incubates longer, but departs the nest to feed.'
