Hello BIRDLOVERS... Lorne again... Have a look in your local newsagent for the latest copy of glossy/pretentious/expensive men's mag. FOR MEN, as it has a one page article on birding in it. There was an interesting, and saddening, part about a group of birdos in Brazil or Peru who were tortured, then executed, by the local guerillas because they had cameras, binoculars, camouflaged gear and notebooks. The guerillas thought they were CIA, so executed them. A worry! Hopefully it won't get that bad out at Round Hill!!! Also... thanks to those who helped me out with my heathwren and field(wren!)guide queries. I am appreciative. LORNE |
