Dear fellow Birding Aus Birder's

Despite the heavy rain in Sydney yesterday, this did not stop myself,
Murray Lord and Ivan from doing birding in what has become one of my
favourite spots in this Spring - The Windsor-Richmond Turf Farm's. We saw
and heard several Brown Quail and a few Stubble and King Quails, about 10
Banded Lapwing's, Horsfield's Bronze-cuckoo feeding on the ground and a
Greenshank feeding on a roadside puddle.

After Murray and Ivan left, I stayed back in this area and saw a
Baillon's Crake in one of the drain's off Cornwell's Rd. Here there was
also a large flock of over 100 Chestnut-breasted Mannakin's and more
Brown Quail calling.

Just upon dusk around Cornwallis's Rd, 3 Barn Owl where seen (this time
not being aggressive and beeing cooperative for me to obtain good view's
of these bird's).

I hear that a few Turquoise Parrot's were seen near Yurramundi recently
as on the latest NSW Birdline update. Can anyone provide more information
regarding the locality. I have only seen these parrots before at
Scheyville N.P. in the Sydney Region (and at almost each visit to the
Capertee Valley).

Cheer's
