I know the "Laughter Police" may not appreciate this, but anyway... When I saw my first Letter-winged Kite a year ago I was amazed at the underwing markings... K I under one wing T E under the other wing When looking up at the bird, the underwing markings read K I T E !!!! I was amazed. It really WAS a Letter-winged Kite, not a Black-shouldered!! Young children should come out in droves to search for the Kite at Werribee, as it may help them with their alphabet!!! Make sure they're 5 and under!! Lorne SESAME STREET Johnson "God that Lorne Johnson's a smart alec, either sticking up for ferals or making smart cracks about our birds... somebody should put him in a box...!!" |
