BUt have any seen this pair of bush thick-knees (curlew) in the Elanda Point
at Lake Cootharaba?, I wonder whether the ranger rehabilitate Bush Curlews
in that park?

The great feral dabate: There is a very interesting book out published by
Environment Australia on how predators (cats Fox, Dingo) react to the
decline of rabbit populations caused by the newly released virus. Do they
prey more on medium sized marsupials and birds when rabbits die away?. When
I recover from a nasty influenza I will return to work and get the full
title of this book.
