Some of you may recall a brave publishing venture a few years with which Joe
Forshaw was involved.
I think it was called Birdlife International. It offered a series of prints
of extinct parrots by ( I think his name was )Francois Desbordes. The first
print was the Ara tricolor, the Cuban Macaw. I put in a standing order for
the series of prints.
Unfortunately the magazine closed down, and nothing more was ever heard of
the prints.
So, several questions.
Does anyone have a phone number or address for Joe Forshaw, in the hope he
might have information.
Does anyone know anything more about the print series? Was it completed?
Where (if anywhere) can it be obtained?
