We live in the Netherlands and are a member of the Dutch Birding Association. On August the first, a member of our society discovered in the north of the netherlands an Oriental Pratincole. This is the fifth time that birdwatchers find this bird in Europe. Our question to your organisation is: is there an explanation in terms of "migration" of the appaerance of this bird on the Europen continent? When someone send us information, we will send the article about this bird in our magazine Dutch Birding. Greetings Jacky Nieuwstraten/ Daan van Tol p.s. please send this mail to those who are interrested too. |
