Highlights in New South Wales over the last week are as follows: COMMON DIVING PETREL 1 found on board a container ship in Sydney harbour 15/7 and taken into care. The ship had passed through Bass Strait ARCTIC TERN 1 in breeding plumage reported at "Soldier's Beach", 500M south of Norah Head, Central Coast 20/7. It flew off with Crested Terns towards Norah Head WHITE-HEADED PIGEON 50 Milena Road, Matcham/Erina, Central Coast 20/7 and 3 Wahroonga, Sydney 11/7 GREEN-WINGED PIGEON 3 Milena Road, Matcham/Erina, Central Coast 20/7 REGENT BOWERBIRD 20 Milena Road, Matcham/Erina, Central Coast 20/7 GREEN CATBIRD 3 Milena Road, Matcham/Erina, Central Coast 20/7 Chris Gladwin Sydney, Australia BIRDLINE NSW (02) 9290 1778 - sponsored by Birds Australia, NSW Field Ornithologists Club and Cumberland Bird Observers Club Please reply direct as a I am unable to see "Birding-Aus" |
