Folks: FAY and I, together with two birding friends, plan to be in SYDNEY over the weekend of 11-13 July. Have tickets to the Australia vs England rugby union match on the Saturday (12th) evening but intend to get in as much birding as possible the rest of the time. Have no vehicle for either the Friday or Saturday so would appreciate: (a) some kind bod offering to take us around or (b) advice on urban sites accessible by public transport for the Friday and Saturday (eg Botanic Gardens? Royal National Park?). I will have own transport for the Sunday and could venture a little further afield. Again, would appreciate advice, suggestions. Thanks in advance. Julian PS The two-month long-service overseas birding jaunt was great. As soon as I can get my head together I'll start dropping in reports. |
