This being my last message for the time being; i would like to thank everyone for their help with my southern birding. My Aussie list now stands at a modest 518, so I'm catching Andy, but the Kimberley trip should push him through th 600barrier. Marleen Acton rang to tell me she'd seen the spotted quail thrush north of Bateman Bay (rats! I've been after that one for months and still not found it). On the subject of dipping out: does anyone know what pelagics I missed out on on the Wollongong trip last Sunday? I'd like to know the worst before I unsubscribe. Ciao. Alex Appleman |
