Went out to Capertee today(Sunday). We saw about Regent Honeteaters in the spot described by Trevor Quested(14.7 km from Capertee). It is quite possible the are the 200 reported on Birdline here as there are multiple birds in every White Box along this stretch of the road. Also had a poor view of a pair of Swift Parrots. White-naped and Fucous honeyeaters as well as Little Lorikeets are numerous at this spot. -- Allan Benson West Ryde NSW Australia Phone 61-2- 9874 7841 |
