Hi Tony

I am currently writing Handbook field ID texts on the swifts and swiftlets.
Naturally I am very keen to see any photos, especially flight photos (no
matter how poor) of any of the Collocalia swiftlet species and subspecies
known from our area. Do you have any slides of the following species that I
could borrow for a short while?

White-rumped (=Grey) swiftlet; Glossy Swiftlet (including the Christmas I
race natalis, which has very distinctive white spots in it's tail); and the
very obscure Uniform Swiftlet. I would also be interested to see any photos
of other PNG or asian species or subspecies, e.g. perhaps you might have
slides of these species taken in Asia rather than in Australasia?

If you don't have any of this material, do you know of someone else who
might be able to help? If you can help, please let me know as soon as
possible, as I'm on a tight deadline with this group.

On another matter, I am trying to locate a copy of the following paper on
Phylloscopus warblers. Can you supply me with a copy or photocopy asap?
The reference is: Leader, P.J. 1993. The field identification of Arctic,
Eastern Crowned, Two-barred Greenish and Pale-legged Leaf Warbler in Hong
Kong. Hong Kong Bird Report 1992: 153-159.

Hope you can help. Cheers, David.
