To add to the comments by Robert Davis and John Boyce, I have seen an Australian Raven flying off with a full size Noisy Miner clasped in its beak. It was holding the Noisy Miner, which was not struggling at all, by one upper leg. The remainder of the flock was in a highly agitated state - calling, and flying along behind the Aussie Raven which seemed to be paying them no attention at all. Unfortunately, I missed both the act of capture and the aftermath. Alan Stuart |
