Dear Gil
I understand that while numbers are elevated in the northwest of the State,
there
is no full-blown, widespread mouse plague in Victoria at the moment. However,
there are some hotspots where numbers are very high. These are in the
Birchip/Donald area and near Hopetoun.
I am not sure what effect localised hotspots would have on raptor numbers but
it
may be well worth a look.
