Birders in the Cairns area may be interested in a Masked Lapwing seen frequently along the Yorkeys Knob Road. This bird is all white but for its black cap and yellow wattles. I don't know who the "discoverer" was - Ron Elsdon drew it to my attention. Ian Cowan |
