The first Norther Flicker (yellow shafted form) of the season showed up in our back yard with the 60 degrees plus sunshine day. Also had the first killdeer today. The Black River is mostly open, but Richmond Bay is still frozen over. It won't be frozen long with this exceptional weather. Mike Houle LaCrosse WI on an island frozen in the Black River |
