On a brighter note ... There have been several sighings of Spotless Crake at Belmont Common lately. Single bird in front of the hide. Today I had very nice close views ofBuff-banded Rail and Black-fronted Dotterel from the hide, but no Spotless Crake. Has anyone on the list seen it/them? Russell Woodford Geelong |
