Morning all, I had a call from Tony Palliser @ 0800 today to say the Erect-crested Penguin is still at the 12 Apostles. As I said in an email yetserday Tom Smith, Sean Dooley and I dipped on Monday pm, but the bird was reported again by members of the public yesterday. It is obviously hanging around and unless you suffer from some sort of malaise I would suggest GO FOR IT!!! If the Royal hangs around at Portland this represents a penguin bonanza not usually seen out of subantarctic waters and at a fraction of the price. Good luck. David Andrew |
