Ozbirders I realise this is not about birds, and that I may be accused of institutional bias .... but take a look at the Museum of Victoria's new spider page on the WWW; it's a beauty! See details below. Lawrie Conole ---------- From: WALKER, Ken To: All Museum Subject: Spiders In the Web Date: Friday, 14 February 1997 10:08 Hi All, Well, the Museum's Web site has finally got a spider sitting in it. The "Victorian Spiders" web page is now available for viewing. Its URL is: http://www.mov.vic.gov.au/spiders/index.html (Note: You must use Netscape 3 or better to view the spider page-Internet Explorer 3 is not able to read the spider page.) David Bittner is currently creating the appropriate page links to our Home page. I hope you enjoy these spiders and that it helps to improve the image of these often maligned animals. After all, spiders are our natural insect spray cans! Cheers, Ken |
