Dear Andrew,
I think that most State Departments of Agriculture have active research or crop
damage
reduction programs. For instance, Silvereyes are major problems in vineyards in
South-western Australia and the WA Department of Agriculture has been
investigating this
problem for over 15 years. Peter Mawson, now working for the WA Dept of CALM,
was
studying parrots in orchard areas of WA in the early 1990s, so he may be able
to help
you. Unfortunately, I do not have Peter's email address readily available.
