     Recent rain has filled Sydney's swamps and dispersed our birds.  Highlights
     in NSW over the last week are as follows:

     AUSTRALIAN CRAKE   1 Pitt Town Lagoon, Windsor 27/1
     PECTORAL SANDPIPER 7 Pitt Town Lagoon, Windsor 27/1
     GREENSHANK         4 Argyl Reach Lagoon, Windsor 2/2
     WHITE-THROATED NIGHTJAR    3 Corrine Close, Berowra Waters, Sydney
                                27/1 at 20:30 hrs - a usual locality
     GANG-GANG COCKATOO 20 Ourimbah SF, Central Coast 1/2
     POWERFUL OWL       1 Munghorn Gap. Mudgee 26/1
     SOOTY OWL          1 Lisarow, Far North NSW 11/1
     GROUND CUCKOO-SHRIKE       2 + imm Arthursville, Wellington 3/1
     WHITE-EARED MONARCH        2 Chillingham, Far North NSW 22/1
     SCARLET ROBIN      1 imm Ourimbah SF, Central Coast 1/2 - most unusual
