A friend of mine with an interest in birds and wildlife, will be visiting Trinidad in March/April this year. He is not a twitcher(ie he is not prepared to machete his way through 10 km. of jungle on the off-chance that he might see a new species!!!) but would like to know of some of the good bird areas to visit and what is (are) the currently recommended field guide(s). I believe Trinidad has over 600 species of butterfly; are there any recommended places with good numbers of butterfly species? If any one out there can help please contact me direct. I would be most grateful for any assistance and look forward to hearing from you. Andy Burton Andy Burton's Bush Tours 703/4 Francis Road Artarmon, NSW 2064 Email Ph 61 2 9904 8468 (home and bus.)
