The Baird's Sandpiper that was seen by one only observer three weeks ago may have been refound. It was seen evening of 15th January at the little "pond" where a Wood Sandpiper has been hanging out for three months. This is an Eastern offshoot of Bushell's Lagoon and is reached via Argyl Reach Road near Wilberforce (Windsor). Stop at the white gate and walk down to the "pond". It flew off but hopefully may return Chris Gladwin Sydney, Australia as I can not "receive" mail currently, please reply via BIRDLINE NSW (02) 9290 1778 - sponsored by RAOU |
