Hello, In a recent posting to birding-aus, somebody mentioned Longlands Gap SP on the Atherton Tablelands as a possible place to find Golden BB. My parents will be on the Tablelends latter in the week (unfortunately I'll still be here in Adelaide) and would appreciate any info. on where to see Golden Bower Birds. None of our bad maps showed Longlands Gap...have I got the name right? On a recent trip there, they did see Atherton Scrub-Wrens. Being very familiar with Large-billed SW, they didn't seem to think it was _that_ hard to pick the Atherton variety. thanks, David Radnell |
