Current notable sightings: Little Ringed Plover (1), Knuckey's Lagoon - 30 November Garganey ( still only max of 2), Knuckey's lagoon - 30 November Yellow Wagtail ( 6+), Darwin Sewage Ponds - 25 November Barn Swallow (2), 30 November Letter-winged Kite (6+), Middle Point - 24 November; it's of interest to see just how long this group will be around. Their numbers have fluctuated considerably over the years they have been there and presumably they will disappear. At the moment though they are easily twitchable. Other interesting records are late Cattle Egrets, Australian Pratincoles and Bee-eaters, all of which would normally have moved out by now. Niven McCrie .............. P.O.
