Yesterday afternoon, around sunset, we were treated to a massed display of aerobatics from at least 15 Dollarbirds. The weather was warm and there seemed to be a greater number of flying insects about than there has been for a week or so, but is that the only reason we had so many of these birds? Is there any other reason so many would be flying around together? This was near Cooranbong, NSW (33 05' S, 151 25' E) Paul Osborn |
