     Highlights in NSW over the last week are as follows:

     SHORT-TAILED SHEARWATER    30,000/hour moving south off Mistral Point,
                                Coogee (Sydney) 5/11.  Virtually none a day
                                later.
     BULLER'S SHEARWATER        1 Mistral Point, Coogee 10/11
     BLACK BITTERN      1 Mitchell Park, Cattai 10/11
     BUFF-BANDED RAIL   15 Gwydir River system (Moree) 4/11
     PAINTED SNIPE      5 Gwydir River system (Moree) 4/11
     BANDED LAPWING     7 Cornwallis Road, Richmond 3/11
     TEREK SANDPIPER    4 Shell Point, BoTany Bay 10/11
     GREENSHANK         20 The Entrance, Central Coast 26/10
     LITTLE TREN        6 Penrhyn Rd., Botany Bay 10/11
     KELP GULL          3 Penrhyn Rd., Botany Bay 10/11
     PACIFIC GULL       1 imm Penrhyn Rd., Botany Bay 10/11
     ROSE-CROWNED FRUIT-DOVE    1 imm injured (taken into care)
                               Chatswood, Sydney 7/11. Rare this far south.
     POWERFUL OWL       2 ads, 1 imm Mitchell Park, Cattai 3/11
     SATIN FLYCATCHER   1 fem. (a migrant) Lane Cove, Sydney 3/11
