I wish I had never started the thread. About a year ago I posted a teaser about TV birding. It was prompted by 1. identifying a wagtail which disrupted play on centre court at Wimbledon and 2. seeing a documentary about twitchers with a segment about this wheelchair-bound chap who twitched via TV and a VCR. I asked for opinions about whether or not I could tick the wagtail as I had identified it myself. I was not serious folks! I don't even tick introductions - although I am 11 short of my 500th Australian bird and am keen to get onto Tony Palliser's >500 list.
