Hi everyone I'm back from three weeks holiday, which included a two week birdwatching trip with Emu Tours (Richard Jordan) to outback NSW and part of Queensland (Kinchega, Mootwingee, Tibooburra, Sturt National Park, Lake Bindegolly, Currawinya). I've nearly finished writing up my bird notes (in between having the house in turmoil with furniture moved as I'm doing some painting). I hope to tantalise you soon with stories of Oriental Plover, Painted Snipe, Bourke's Parrot, Grey Grasswren, Hall's Babbler and Chestnut-breasted Quail-Thrush. In the meantime, good to be back to birding-aus. Cheers Irene Denton Sydney NSW Australia |
