I notice that this last week in Canberra the groups of Silvereyes in the suburbs are starting to include groups of the buff-flanked mainland subspecies, and these are beginning to replace groups of the rufous-flanked Tasmanian subspecies which have been with us since March. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Dr John Leonard PO Box 243, Woden, ACT 2606, AUSTRALIA "We find certain things about seeing puzzling, because we do not find the whole business of seeing puzzling enough." @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ |
