Friarbirds and orioles

With reference to Steve Clark's question about relationships between these
birds, there is certainly some mention in journals and newsletters.  A
couple of sources to look at are:

Diamond, J.M. (1982). Mimicry of friarbirds by orioles.  Auk 99: 187-196.
Clapp, George E. (1986, reprinted 1990). Second recorded instance of the
Brown Oriole nesting in the same tree as the Helmeted Friarbird.  Muruk 1:
16-26.
