Following a couple of recent postings I mention that I too have a photo of a White eared honeyeater trying to extract hairs, but in this case it was from the rump of our dog which was accompanying us on a walk in bushland near Terrey Hills, a Northern Beaches suburb of Sydney. The bird was very persistent and was not fazed by our close presence.
