Peter Lansley has reported a Grey-headed Goshawk from Saibai Island in
the Torres Strait yesterday 17th July 1996.

Also I have heard rumours of further sightings of Papuan Harrier this
time from the Atherton Tablelands, Andy do you have any more info on
these? Further more David Stewart (SNR) has reported a Papuan Harrier
from Mount Adolphus Island also in the Torres Strait.

These will both be new birds for Australia if accepted by the
RAOU RAC.

While on the subject of major rarites there is reported to be a long
staying White Wagtail in Darwin should anyone be going up that way.
does anyone have any further information please?
