Dear Birding-Aus Highlight of the year? Probably Woodhen on Lord Howe, which had been on the wish list for a long time. But a close second must rank something I saw at Jurong Bird Park in Singapore: a very nicely done enclosure housing Silver Gulls, Pied Oystercatchers, Little Pied Cormorants and Masked Plovers. One country's weeds are another's exotics!
