Re: PALLID CUCKOO behaviour It is well quoted in the literature

Subject: Re: PALLID CUCKOO behaviour It is well quoted in the literature that Cuckoos (of many different species) are known to feed their fledged young. It particulary occurs with Koels. Are they "assisting" in the development of their young or are they responding to begging calls by any young bird? (It is also known that birds will feed any young bird species that happens to be begging.) Chris Gladwin
